His research focuses on the field of developmental psychology, covering theory, assessment and intervention, emphazing on improving the learning and reading abilities of children with normal or special learning needs. In recent years, he has focused on research on behavioral genetics (twin studies), consumer behavior, mindfulness, and multimedia learning.
