Happy Classroom Day (HCD) is the latest EDiversity attempt to bring to more our vision: Happy and fulfilling education for ALL!
Leverage on our experience in learning by doing, the programme aims to encourage schools to have one day dedicated for children to build their happy classroom with their teachers. The day will be one truly for teachers to listen to children's voices, let them discuss and create their own version of happy classroom in collaboration. Teachers will facilitate the process, to practise observing and listening to students with empathy. A day to grow trust and positive relationship in the classroom that can be a start for a cultural shift in the school.
Our Jockey Club "Learning by Doing" Academy (LBD) has been named by UNESCO has an outstanding Happy School Activity in 2019. LBD echos with UNESCO Happy School in many facets. We would like to further spread LBD through the lighter version: Happy Classroom Day, so more schools can join and experience the joy of learning in a different way and build a happy school culture together.
